We have the pleasure (and I am sure most of you will jump with joy) to announce that we have now professional grooming services available by Cathy, a WWPSA certified CAH groomer since 1985. We use a therapeutic Hydro-Surge bathing and massage system on all of our dogs and offer this extra spa-service free of charge. Only top of the line shampoos and conditioners are being used on your furry family members. If your dog has a special needs shampoo or medicated ear flush, you may provide the solutions and we will gladly apply them at no added charge. |

| Cathy's Bio Prior to grooming Cathy worked as a veterinary assistant during which time she volunteered for the new local animal shelter. As a volunteer she was soon recruited to serve as an animal services officer then shelter manager for her home city of San Clemente, CA. The choice to leave the city job was rewarded by her new endeavor, learning how to groom and style dogs! It is a decision she's never regretted and feels that as a groomer she is in a great position to help dogs and their owners in a much more personal way. In 1987 she purchased Mountainview Pet Boutique and worked closely with an excellent group of veterinarians and her own staff giving her experience with many special needs and challenging animals. Cathy successfully owned and operated this business until illness and a death in the family recently brought her here to FL to be near her senior dad. Leaving many great clients was hard for her but she is eager to meet and get to know many new furry friends here. Over the years she has continued to work with several rescue organizations offering services and educational programs in addition to fostering many animals that required special medical needs. This included many native species rescue/fostering and relocation services. Her early years as a groomer were filled with activities in the grooming industry, as an active member she served as vice president and newsletter editor of the Southern California Professional Groomers Association. Attended and competed in many seminars across the country winning several grooming awards along the way. After winning the "Most Compassionate Hands" award in 2003 at a major international competition, she retired from the grooming competition world as this was her favorite recognition and felt nothing would ever top it personally. She looks forward to this change and getting to meet the wonderful pets here. All questions are welcome and she won't hesitate to work with you to make your dogs grooming experience one that they'll look forward to every time! |
