Boarding

We welcome unannounced visits to tour our facility during our normal drop-off and pick-up times.  We are confident that you will be impressed by our cleanliness standards at camp.

Snooze The Night Away

After playing with friends, lounging in the sun and giving the toys a good tug or ball a good chase, the dogs are ready for a soft, quiet place to sleep the night away. Our overnight spacious areas are air conditioned, clean, and set up to help dogs feel calm and safe. We provide soft, comfy bedding for your dog unless he/she is destructive.  All of our indoor runs and outdoor exercise areas have automatic water bowls installed.  Our dedicated team members monitor the dog's activity, eating habits, health, medications and overall well-being throughout their stay with us. Our Daily Dog Assessment is a hands-on with a nose-to-tail check on every dog, every single day, which is not commonly done at other facilities.  We pride ourselves in the amount of playtime we are able to provide to our guests, as we are a small facility and have lots of room to play with 5 large play areas (!)

For New Clients:

All dogs must complete our Happy Camper Approval process and first (FREE) day of Playcare before any boarding stay can be confirmed. Your dog needs to be sociable with other dogs and safe for our staff to handle. If you are a new client and interested in our boarding or daycare service, please e-mail a current photo with a brief description of your dog to mypetcamp@gmail.com. We will then promptly reply.

We have a no bully breed/bully breed mix policy at camp. Having had almost 30 years of experience working with all types of dogs, I have come full circle and to the conclusion in 2014 that bully breeds and bully breed mixes pose a much higher risk to other dogs in our care as well as to our staff than most breeds. It is their physical build and bite style - locking the jaw and tearing at their target as well as their often unpredictable, sudden, aggressive outbursts coupled with their power- which make them unique and unfortunately not a good fit for our environment. We welcome all bully and bully mixes in our training classes with open arms.

Boarding Requirements:
• Up-to-date Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper and Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All vaccinations need to have been administered no less than two weeks prior to the dog's stay.
• Reservations are required for boarding and recommended for daycare as we can not always guarantee to have a spot for your "Spot".

Things to Bring:
• PLEASE bring your dog's own food (no bowls) and mark the bags with sharpie.  Please bring some extra food (3-5 days worth).
• We will provide soft bedding for your pooch(es). Please keep your dog beds and blankets at home, as they could get lost amidst all of the bedding.
• One or two rubber or plastic toys that your dog can not destroy or ingest.  They will provide comfort and a familiar smell from home.
• Medications with written instructions
• Please mark ALL food bags and belongings with Sharpie (we will tag your leash) and bring an inventory list of all items. It will speed up the check-in process.
